It's literally just the cutest song ever. And very literal in some situations. We all have one person we just wish we could fly to, am I right? π΅πππ
This song, music video, and dance is seriously a masterpiece. Sometimes with all the new groups and songs coming out, I always forget about GaIn. But she's not someone who should be forgotten. Everything about her is edgy and pushing boundaries. This song was actually banned from 3 different broadcasting stations. It's a big deal. It's a very controversial music video, but thinking back, her whole album "Hawwah" is a very controversial album. Even on a bigger spectrum, Ga In's songs were never all nice and dandy like the South Korean standards like to push out. She's showcased sex, domestic violence, and some like to think she touched the subject of religion with this album. Which would make sense saying that Hawwah means 'Eve'. And the music video. Though she says it isn't based on the bible itself but that they just made a fictional story using a character in the bible. Regardless, this music video is a masterpiece.
The episode starts out the gate with drama. The writers waste no time in getting started with the storyline. Usually there is some character insight at the beginning of the drama. Not with this one. This one starts out with with butt grabbing perverts on a subway and false accusations. Butt grabbing is always a sure way to get someone hooked into a drama. Am I right?
The whole scene is utterly hilarious. I mean this guy was straight caressing the booty. But the best part was that she ended up telling the guy who actually violated her to report the innocent guy. I also had a nice laugh reading the Viki comments of girls saying things along the lines of "WELL I WOULDN'T MIND BEING GRABBED BY JI CHANG WOOK" π€£π€£π€£π€£
Flash back to real life after the pervert situation was... not handled.... dropped momentarily. Eun Bong Hee was on this side of town for a reason. She got an anonymous text message that her boyfriend was cheating on her.. Man, this scene was the WORST. Like I've never wanted to reach through the laptop screen and punch a character so much in my life. Because once the guy WAS caught, he used the worst excuse ever. "I'm still young. If some girl seduces me I have no choice. BUT I still love you". Oh boy. The rage was real.
BONUS: That part was epic. Yes, girl. You threaten to break that arm. Hehehe I can relate >:) Cheating is the worst.
But I do have to say.. Why does Chansung make such a good bad guy? Like he fits perfectly in the role and it's upsetting.
And she says she will get revenge by sleeping with the first guy she runs into. What are the odds of running into the guy you just accused of being a pervert and then asking him to sleep with you all in the same day?
The best thing about this drama so far I think is really that everything just ties together. Such as the pervert being caught and brought to her prosecutor's office. Or that the guy she accused of being a pervert actually ended up helping her regardless of whether she caused unnecessary drama in his life. Then the fact that both of the main actor's back stories revolve them being cheated on basically. It's very relate-able. I'm also really happy to see adult dramas. I mean the lovey dovey cutesy 'girls don't kiss back' dramas worked for me when I was younger. Like I loved Heartstrings and all of those dramas in that era. But recently the South Korean entertainment industry is really growing and branching out with their story lines. They're including sex in dramas which was completely unheard of a few years ago. Not that a drama needs sexual implements to succeed, but the fact that it's a lot more grown up. Real world type scenarios, you know?
But one awful thing I have to point out... The end of the episode.. That was the weirdest thing ever. It literally just cut off mid clip it seemed like. Mid sentence even. And credits rolled. It doesn't make sense. It irritated me immensely. It's not even a cliff hanger. It was just a cut off mid-scene.
***Disclaimer*** Try to bear with me as I go through through these dramas. I kind of passed off the drama baton to KDQ, but as I watch dramas I miss writing about them. It's a learning experience getting readjusted to writing about dramas. Thanks for putting up with me! :D
HAS Shanea here. Starting another 'Afterthoughts' on dramas I watch. However this one is different. This time I'm going to attempt to do it episode by episode.. I have this problem when watching dramas. I get too hooked on them and completely forget to write about them. Then I end up at the end of the series with 0.2 blogs written about it and not enough long/short term memory to remember everything I wanted to say about it the whole time I was watching it. So hopefully this will go well :)
So this 'Afterthoughts' will be on Suspicious Partner (Love in Trouble for all Dramafever watchers)
Initially I was thinking of starting 'My Secret Romance' but alas Ji Chang Wook won me over in the end. Because where can you go wrong with Ji Chang Wook, am I RIGHT?!
Watching the previews for this drama on Dramafever's facebook is really what made me want to watch it. I love how Dramafever shows like the critical romance stuff, but they never fully give away the whole story line. After reading the description on Viki, I realized that this drama is not ANYTHING like it's depicted on the previews and I'm quite excited to start it.
Who doesn't love a drama with drama, correct?

So this week I was really wanting to do several people. I had a lot in mind. But I just couldn't make myself do it...because I really wanted to honor one man. My Dad.
My dad is probably like the coolest man alive. I've been not the nicest of kids (trouble from the start) but even with that he has been nothing but my back bone and support since I was small. I resented him for the longest time and though I pushed away from him he was always there to pick up and put me back on my feet. When I feel like I've messed up or I've failed my dad has ALWAYS been there to say well "Jeniveve humans in general will fail. We fail each other, but more importantly we fail ourselves. If you aren't willing to learn from your failures then there is no point in life in general. In order to make ourselves happy we have to fail, we have to try, otherwise how do we know we aren't good at it?"
My dad has been there for lots of people not just me. He makes me laugh when I don't think I can. He supports me when the world turns their back. He's my rock, my protector and everything a girl can ask for when she thinks of what a dad should be.
I am SO lucky that I have a dad that I can look up to and count on when I need it, because there are a lot of people out there who do not have that in their lives.
I just want to say one more thing before I close this series down. For those out there who have lost their dad I will as I am writing this take a moment of silence.............
I lost my mom 8 years ago and I know all to well what losing a parent feels like. My condolences and prayers are with you and I hope that our fans here at HAS live a happy life full of love and compassion.

Cha Tae Hyun, the father of 3 beautiful children. 1 son, 2 daughters. Cha Tae Hyun is a seriously amazing dad and if nothing else, he's completely smitten with his daughters. All fathers love their daughters though. It's just a universally known fact!
Seriously a fool for his daughters, but he loves all of his kids so much. Good for them he's so goofy. Life won't ever be boring :)

This was my favorite song by Lunafly. Even when they were just doing Youtube videos, I watched them all the time. Also fell in love with Sam's jawline. Lawd. Unfortunately, this group never got really big. And because they never made it anywhere, they had a member leave, 2 new join, and then they left also. So as of now there's only 2 left. The song is really cute. You ever see a cute person when you're traveling and sit there and think "Omg they're perfect. How great would it be to be with them?" This song is that feeling summed up. :)
When I get married, I seriously am going to need my husband to take some pointers from Sean.
He's the kindest, sweetest man. I just love him to death. And he absolutely adores his children. All four children have names related to God (they mean God’s Heart, God’s Love, God’s Law, and God’s Angel). How sweet?!?!?!?!!?!?!
This song is one of my favorite older songs. I think, if I'm not mistaken, it was from around 1988. I actually was introduced to this song through 'Immortal Songs 2' when Kim Tae Woo sang it with Kang Boo Ja.

But again I just felt like his Daddness (made up that word?) needed to be shared. He actually was one of the first fathers of the hip hop world I knew about. YES EVEN BEFORE THERE WAS TABLO. What I love so much about Tiger as a dad is, he involves his son in a lot of his own things.
He seems to use his son in a lot of songs. But you can tell his son loves every minute of it.

Ricky Kim has always been a favorite of mine ever since watching 'Let's Go Dream Team'.
Asher gave everyone a super big scare at the beginning of this year. He got really sick in Thailand and apparently couldn't walk. They had to go see a specialist in LA. But now he's back to normal. Good as new. And we're all thankful.
Speaking of Asher.. You guys remember when everyone was like OMG HE LOOKS LIKE KAI?

Yo this song still gets me pumped. Ahhh the very beginning of 2PM where Jay Park was still in the group. I still can't fully believe that even happened. Looking at Jay Park now, it completely is like this foreign concept that he would even be in a kpop group. But it's okay, because Jay Park was so much better as a solo artist and 2PM did so well without him.
