Now back to today's blog.  I am going to try... And I mean REALLY REALLY try to keep this up every week.  I am doing this from my phone as I no longer have a laptop (DEDICATION!) so please bear (bear? bare?) with me!

Idol - BTS

8

Every Day Every Moment - Paul Kim

7

Love ing - Ben

6

5

Goodbye - Punch

4

The Has Never Been A Day I Haven't Loved You - Im Chang Jung

Now.... Usually I comment something about each video but since this is the first time I am doing this,  I just got to the point but I will give my opinion about a few things.

1. I only know 1 song from this list and you guessed it,  its BTS.  Now I know most of these groups/singers but not any of these songs.  How sad is that?

2. IKONs song is new to the list.

3. Why do they not just have a kpop list?  I get it,  these are still classified as kpop but.... Are they really?

Anyway,  I hope you enjoyed this weeks Top 10.  Check back next week to see if your favorite song/artist made it to the top 10!

Bunny's Hoppin Hip Hop Corner ( Cheetah)

I really don't know a lot about this artist today. We can learn together!!!!
I do know that she is the winner of the first Unpretty Rapstar, and I do know about her song "change my number," I did like it, but it wasn't a OMG HAD TO LISTEN TO OVER AND OVER type song.

Cheetah

I did  know that she was also an underground before going on the show. With that being said you don't usually hear a lot from her. She's not usually on a lot of shows that I know of , to promote her music, BUT I just love her swag.

Upon doing some research I did find that Cheetah before debuting was in a terrible accident (she got hit by a bus...yessss hoppers a bus) and it landed her in a coma for a good while. That's the reason you never hear her sing the respirator ruined her vocal cords.

Cheetah is a member of C9 Entertainment, which supports artist like Jung Joon Yong ( and Drug Restaurant)  and Wanna One, just to name a few.

I'm always excited about her new stuff because I love seeing people like her succeed. When she came out with this new one after being gone for a while I was so ready.

"I'll Be There" dropped on the 28th of February

Can I just say I love her new look. Can we just take a minute and just look at how FLAWLESS she is!!!!!!

I was really shocked about this single. It wasn't really what I expected from her. I kinda expected it to be a little be more pop music then what she gave me, but I actually liked it. All in all I thought It was a good comeback and something we really needed. as listeners.

Thanks again for reading and remember Stay Hoppin ;)  by for now see you next time.

Bunny's Hoppin Hip Hop Corner (Update)

HEY MY FELLOW HOPPERS LONG TIME NO SEE!!! It's been absolutely crazy for me! I'm in a new spot with a new place, with new family! But news is good. I'm sorry I haven't been around, but it's been a BUSY couple of months. But FINALLY I'M BACK!! so lets get started with an update. The last you saw me we talked about "She's Gone" by Jong Ilhoon, and SanE and Mad Clown's "Butterfly, " but there are several other comebacks I want to talk about.

Yoonmirae

Yoonmirae is one of my FAVORITE Korean artist in this hip hop or music history. If you follow my blogs you might can figure out who my biases are. (Tablo, Top, Tiger Jk, Yoonmirae) each one of them have their own lane, but this woman just fits in mine. I love her so much she's a great singer, rapper, and even mom. I mean it can't be that bad being married to this......

Anyway, Yoonmirae has come up with several new singles in the past couple of months....and her new album "Gemini 2 " is one of my new favorites of the year !!

The album has some MAD features with people like my boy Junoflo ya'll know I love me some Juno. Double K , Tiger Jk, And Champagne are just to name a few more. But with a name and the Bad A$$ ness that she has how can you expect any less.

Kawi Bawi Bo was her first comeback of the year and honestly it was exactly what I wanted from her. But if it's not for you don't worry because there is one the next one is where she took it to a whole new level. JUNOFLOOOOO

This song right here ya'll ... equals life LOL no but really it's just an all around catchy song. You should listen to it multiple times.... in a row.... for hours lol

That's it for this blog... I know it's kind of short but I hope your excited to see me with some more comebacks :D by ya'll

And as always stay Hoppin :D

Afterthoughts: Suspicious Partner/Love in Trouble (Episode 2)

Okay! So, I have found out some information since my last post of episode 1. I did think it was odd that the episodes were only 30 minutes long. This being because normal drama times are about an hour long each. The episodes are suppose to be 60 minutes long. Episode 1 and 2 are basically one episode split up.

I did a little research and found out why it was so odd. And why the episode cut off mid-scene.

"In order to circumvent Korean laws that prevent commercial breaks in the middle of an episode, what would previously have been aired as single 60 minute episodes are now being repackaged as two 30 minute episodes, with two episodes being shown each night with a commercial break between the two."

Okay so after this post about 'Episode 2' I will be doing the afterthoughts 2 episodes at a time since essentially they are the same episode. They're even aired on the same night. Just that they split it up so there could be a commercial break in between each parts.

Wow, that's confusing. And was very off-putting to cut a drama off mid-scene..... But it's okay. Since I got this now, we're good to go.

Onto Episode 2:

Of course the episode has to start out by Na Ji Hae...

That girl... Being a complete pain in the butt. Go figure. It's just who she is.. But I'm not even worried about it. I'm worried about the scene directly after...

I don't think I've ever laughed so hard in my life... He deserved it! The way he acted and treated her!! She should have done more than just kick his face in! Then the music just adds to the drama. Ohhhh I love this scene. She deserves to do it also...

.... If only it was real. It didn't happen. Just what she wanted to do, but decided 'hmm.. maybe i should just yell at the guy' which literally just ended in him getting the upper hand and publicly embarrassing her.  Poor girl, he's slick. Like a slug. Just throw some salt on him, he'll disappear. -_-

I do love how she decides that from the point on that he embarrassed her, she would just be labeled as the crazy girl. Who cares, right? People already bad talk her as it is. Might as well make them scared of you while you're at it. And creepily singing that you'll kill your ex every time you encounter him is a great way to do it.

^This scene... Has mixed emotions. I was laughing, but also cringing. Oh the embarrassment. Oh the hilarity.

But... Ji Chang Wook in glasses = Happiness.

This was a draft from years ago. I'll post it but god i do not remember this drama. In fact i don't even know if i finished it.

Afterthoughts: Hwayugi (A Korean Odyssey) [SUPER SPOILER]

Hwayugi (A Korean Odyssey)

Okay, so I loved this drama.... for the most part. But even though I did like it, I have to admit that there were so many problems with it that by the time the drama ended I was left feeling unsettled and kind of just frustrated that I wasted so much time on this drama. But I feel like if a season 2 came out, then all would be right in the world and I wouldn't nearly have as big of a problem with it as I do now. Now, I want to go ahead and warn you that I'm not keeping spoilers out of this. This will be a full on spoiler fest because I'm giving my thoughts on this drama.

So for starters, I'll start with the OST. Which was GOLD, by the way. This was one of the best OST's I've seen in a drama.

Specifically Bumkey's 'When I Saw You'

Which I mean, you can't really go wrong with Bumkey anyways... But the song just perfectly matched up with the drama. It easily became my favorite OST of 2018.

As for the casting, I believe the casting was perfect. I heard a lot of different opinions on this one, but to me I think the casting of this drama was just perfect. Because they're all so different, it just works. It's dysfunctional but amazing at the same time.

As for the storyline, this is where I have some problems with.

For starters I will say that this drama could have been AMAZING if they had tweaked a few parts of it. It started off really well in the beginning and it wasn't until episode like 14 that I had problems finishing the drama. I think this drama could have wrapped up in 16 episodes rather than dragging onto 20. So after about the 16th episode, it really just seemed dragged out.
So I will start with the problems I had.

Problem #1. Bu Ja's death.

I really love this actress. Her ability to play 3 different roles in one character was just great. She did amazing. From idol to zombie to evil priestess, she did amazing. My favorite of course was the zombie (Bu Ja)
The problem comes in when the priestess comes and possesses Bu Ja. Which I think was a nice touch. But we were all hoping and wishing the priestess would be cast out of her body and Bu Ja and PK would be reunited. And in the end, the priestess stayed and PK had to burn her. Which was just crap because I really wanted her to come back so bad. That's probably one of the things I was waiting for the most with this drama was Bu Ja and PK to be reunited and that the stupid squid prince would go back home. So when it came down to the priestess being defeated and lost all her powers and energy, she started rotting and couldn't do anything. And the problem is that you know deep down that Bu Ja was still in there somewhere because when Sam Jang(yes i'm just going to refer to her as this) was talking to her, she showed her how the idol girl had died. So you know when PK burned her, Bu Ja was still in there somewhere and just couldn't come out. So it was just a really sad ending to a good story.

2. The Dragon Prince's death.

It seems I have a problem with everyone's death. I do. I really do. Because this isn't the last one.  But the problem I have with his death is the fact that it was more impactful than probably any other death in this drama. Isn't that something? The other death's in this drama had less impact on me than this one. Just the fact that PK told her to go get Ma Wang and she/he/? refused to do so and just threw herself on PK to save him just tore my heart to shreds.

3. The dragon fight.

I'm sorry, if you lead up for 4 episodes about this amazing evil dragon that's going to come and end the world, don't you think there should have been a bigger dragon fight scene? And also a better dragon? Because guys, that dragon CGI was just awful. I mean that probably ruined the whole thing for me. If it looked realer, I probably would have enjoyed it more. But then also the fact that it was over within a 10 minute span. And that's including the cut scene where he takes her away from the fight and she dies. Like 3 hits and it's gone. And he isn't even seen fighting it. Just hitting the air in front of the camera. I guess this comes from my being an American and our movies like this would have had this big badass dragon and the fight would have been so amazing. Instead it was like a Dragon Ball dragon who got hit 3 times and it was over in the blink of an eye. I just feel like if the drama was going to be based on the fact that this evil creature was going to come and rule the world and she had to be the sacrifice, the fight should have had more of an impact. Which brings me to my next problem.

4. Sam Jang's death.

Now, I don't have a problem that she died. I knew it was coming. It was inevitable. The problem I have is that honestly Dragon Prince's death had more of an impact! Her death was like this:

Evil dude stabs
Sam Jang Bleeds. Ow. Hurts. Blood everywhere.
Monkey comes and hits dragon once
Monkey takes Sam Jang to forest
Sam Jang dies.
Monkey goes and kills dragon.

Like it was literally so not what I would have expected saying the whole drama was based off the fact that this was her destiny. So this problem really goes along with the dragon fight. Because they're both the same thing. The worst part is that the evil politician dude was the one who stabbed her with it... The death bell rang... Which should have meant that monkey was the one to stab her. Now, I know they were all for switching the destiny and making the death bell not work... But... I still think that was not a good way to go. I think what should have happened is Sam Jang Stabbed herself in a different area that way she wouldn't have bled out so easily and fought off the dragon some rather than just sitting there because she's dying and bleeding out so fast. Just the whole scene was a massive let down. Now admittedly, when monkey has her in that forest and she's dying/dies.. I cried so much. Because it just was so sad. I really wished she didn't have to die. So when she did (even though it wasn't an amazing scene) it still sucked.

5. The end.

This was by far the worst. With all the reincarnation that goes on in this drama and the deities and the demons and all these different magical beings.. Sam Jang was just dead. She just was. And monkey's memory was shattered. Of course, because this wouldn't be a kdrama without some amnesia. You would think because Sam Jang saved the whole world, she would have become a deity and he could have accepted his call to the heavens and they could have been reunited. Instead, she's just gone and he's left by himself broken and doesn't even know why he's broken. So she comes back for a day. A whole day. To help him remember the memories he has lost... And the literal last 5 minutes of that day before she disappears, he remembers everything. 5 minutes. They have a whole effing 5 minutes to fully appreciate the fact that they're together again. 5 minutes, guys. Then he gives her one of his eyes and she disappears and the drama ends by him driving his car.... ARE YOU SERIOUS?!?! Guys, this was probably one of the worst drama endings I've encountered. I liked City Hunter's ending more than this one and I hated City Hunter's ending. This one just blew my mind on how bad it was. Now, if it turned out there was a Hwayugi 2, then I would be 100% content with that ending because I know there's more story line coming. And we can find out if that new Sam Jang would be their kid because everyone kept saying it looked like the monkey. I just feel like no one at all in the drama or the readers got closure from what happened. It just happened and was over with. I do feel that if the writers were smart, they would capitalize on that and even if they weren't planning on making a 2, they should because everyone wants it.

Now that we've got the problems I had out of the way, I'll go onto nicer things.

1. Summer Fairy's death.

I feel like Summer Fairy's death was very necessary. I still hated it because Summer Fairy was my favorite, man. But I thought it was a really good plot twist that made for a better storyline and really made Winter Fairy's character stand out and become something great. Major kudos to this actor also because he just did the greatest.

2. Sam Jang and Monkey's love story.

I wasn't sure how I felt about the Geumgango for awhile. Like I really loved seeing him be annoyingly in love with her and I thought it was hilarious but also really nice. But in the end, it turned out that he didn't need it anyways and could have taken it off halfway through the drama had he wanted to because he was already fully in love with her. (Which I totally saw coming and glad it happened) Their love story was all sorts of dysfunctional and far from normal, but it made for a really good drama. The willingness to die for the other one or die so that the other one can live and be okay is just amazing when it's a literal situation. I just really wished there could have been more of it and that after she died, something happened like she reincarnated later and they found each other again or something that could have shown more of the relationship. She didn't even know he could take of the thing by himself when she died. How sad.

3. Monkey and Bull's Bromance.

These two were constantly hilarious and equally lovable. And how much Ma Wang missed the monkey after he left was just heartbreaking.

4. Ma Wang as a whole.

The whole Ma Wang character was just the best part of this drama. Everything the man was and did was just great. His whole reason for wanting to become a deity, having the dog secretary, finding his son... All of this was just an amazing story line and I loved every minute of watching him. He was hilarious and cocky and childish and even when he went blind, it was just hilarious. His reactions were golden. Hell, I might watch a whole movie dedicated just to Ma Wang. I loved him that much.

5. The whole concept of the drama.

I do love this whole concept. I'm not normally into the supernatural side of things, but this drama had a REALLY GOOD concept. Just what happened could have been a little better.

Let's not forget PK and Bu Ja's story. I loved that so much but I already relayed on that in my problem section.

All in all, I did like the drama. I know it doesn't sound like it, but honestly I did like this drama. I would give it about a 6/10. So not the greatest, but I was absolutely obsessed with this drama until around episode 14 so that definitely counts for something.

On to watch another drama!

Welcome back to Bunny's Hoppin hip hop corner. Today we have.....

San E and Madclown

If you have read my read anything of mine you know just how special they are to me. You may remember "Sour Grapes" (one of my favorite songs of all time)  BUT THEY ARE BACK AT IT AGAIN......

This video is just a ball of cuteness. I mean San E is just a ball of cuteness himself but when they start dancing together I lose it. THEY ARE SO FREAKING ADORABLE I just want them to cuddle me ... both of them HAHAHAHAHA. OH OH OH and we have San E's hip thrust!!!!! Get it boy!!! (:32 seconds). It's a fun song just like their last one together. I love these two together they just make me happy! Their music is upbeat and make me want to laugh. I love with Mad Clown starts singing. It's auto tuned but still fun to watch. Then you can't forget Bumkey and that voice! Overall it's just a fun video and it makes me happy.

I know this was a short post but I didn't want to leave it out!!!!  That's it for today hoppers. We will have more for you tomorrow.

Bunny's Hoppin Hip Hop Corner (JUNG ILHOON)

Hey Hoppers it's me Bunny. It's been so many new songs this past couple of months and I've been so behind, but I'm going to start catching up today. Hopefully I'll have one out for each day this week! But today will start with one of my FAVORITE people. I don't know if you can call it a come back, but Jung IlHoon released two singles.

Now I'm going to be honest like always. I've never really liked BtoB, but then again I've never really like kpop in general. BUT HAVE NO FEAR I'M GETTING THERE. It's growing on me.

Jung IlHoon

For those of you like me who didn't know him before these singles, for of those of you who like me lived under a rock, Ilhoon is part of a group called BtoB. He was also in "Roll Deep" by Hyuna.
Usually when I hear an idol come out with a rap song I'm a little suspect. I knew he was good in Hyuna's video, but the more and more I listen to kpop the more and more I begin to realize that I don't hate kpop at all lol I actually really like it.

Lets get back to the Singles. 4 weeks ago on YouTube "She's Gone" was dropped. Both Shanea and I had that on repeat for several days. It's got a real blue's feel and I ABSOLUTELY AM OBSESSED. I love the guitar in the beginning.  It gets stuck in my head at random parts of the day. All the sudden I'll be walking somewhere and I hear NOW SHE'S GONE CAUSE YOU SAID SO!!! lol It's just  a fun song.

I LOVED this song and still do. But it was his next single 2 weeks later that really just stole my heart. I cried when I first heard this song. Now the one that I saw had subs, but it's just a sad song in general. Not a lot of rappers now days go that deep. The good ones to me do but this next song has a special place in my heart. "Always" features JinHo from Pentagon if you don't know him don't worry they are coming up in a episode soon.

I lost my mom at a really young age. So this song just really hit me and my feels. Again the type he of music choose to rap too is fun to listen to. It was kind of a coffee shop feel to it. But his lyrics to that song is what really just made me love it even more.

If you haven't listen to either of these songs I'd hope you would. But I hope even more that you begin to do what I've been doing lately and expand your genre of music a little. You might be missing some really good music out there.

Thats it for this post. As always STAY HOPPIN and we'll catch you tomorrow for some new MAD combacks.

Bunny's Hoppin Hip Hop Corner (Yoonmirae)

I'm a little late on this post, but I'm actually just now finding out about it. MY IDOL, MY LOVE, MY ONE AND ONLY

Yoonmirae

A lot of people may knew her has Tiger JK's wife, but she's Yoonmirae  :D

Yoonmirae is such a B.A. like she just goes hard in everything she does and I was so excited to see she had a new single out after such a long time out of the game. SHE'S BACK and this song is just as I expected of her... PHENOMENAL!!!

So my first reactions to this song were:

1. Why is she so dad-gum gorgeous I'm so jealous and the girl crush is real!!!
2. Oh my gooooddd a celo how freaking awesome.
3. Her voice WHYY YOU DO THAT...
4. OH SHE BROKE IT DOWN WITH THE BARS!
5. She just gonna hit you with bars that quick into it. She's not going to easy you into it?
6. I wanna sing like herrrrrrr!!!!!!
7. THAT'S HOW YOU END A SONG RIGHT THERE... FREAKING GET YO ISHHH

I just love this song and I'm so obsessed with it right now. I'm so happy she came out with it. It did kinda leave me wanting more, not because it was a bad ending, but because I just wanted more Yoonmirae. I'll always want more of my Tasha lol.

I GOT A FEVER AND THE ONLY CURE IS MORE YOONMIRAE!!!!!!

Well that's all for this times. Until next time keep hoppin. This has been HAS's Bunny :)

Featured Song of the Week! (3/9/18)

Jung Ilhoon - She's Gone

Your new favorite song alert! Prepare to be addicted!

And I thought I couldn't love Ilhoon anymore than I already did. Wrong. He proved me WROOONG.

To be fully honest, I didn't know if I was going to like this song. Even though I do love him in BtoB and I like him in songs he features in... But I didn't necessarily know if him putting out a solo would be as good as it actually is. But man I love this song so much. I know, I know. I super underestimated him. But dude he killed it with this song.

~The Korean Drama Queen~

Bunny's HOPPIN hip hop corner (J-Hope)

Hey hoppers!!!!! It's time for another hoppin hip hop corner!!! And our art s of the day is.......

J-Hope

Now I LOVE me some BTS, but honestly J-Hope has never been my bias. I've like him I think he's funny just not my personal bias.  Ive kind of laid off writing this one in fear of the army, but when I finally listened to it. These are my thoughts.

1. WHERE THE H E DOUBLE HOCKY STICKS DID YOU COME FROM.
2. Why are there so many talented rappers in BTS.
3. J-Hope showed up to kill the game
4. Why did I not see him before.... oh right Suga
5. If you don't work with yo bad self.
6. I can hope for some more J-hope.

I really liked his singles he came out with. He definitely earned my respect and I hope he earns yours.

Now let's talk about his videos.

Daydream

I was kind of taken back by the beginning. I wasn' really expecting the vibe of the song.  But the laid back "good vibe only" type feel of the song I real like. He really has a good groove on this song and I like it.

My favorite from his mix tape Hope World I like is...

I will say I give J-Hope props on this whole mix tape he did a good job and earns my respect.

Until next time keep hopping :)

Midweek Blast from the Past! (2/28/18)

Block B - Toy

This is a song that gets randomly stuck in my head at random times. Me and Bunny actually got this song stuck in our head at the same exact time and the same exact part and didn't tell each other. Just at the same time we both said we had a song stuck in our head and it was this one. It just does that.

The song is really sad.. I don't know why I'm leaning more towards the sad songs this February guys, maybe it's because as I'm getting older I just like the more emotional songs.

Here's the lyrics. My favorite verse of this song is actually probably the first one.

"Who cares about my emotions
You can play with me until you’re sick of me
You can break me if that’s what you want
Because I’m a toy, toy"

That tells you what the song is about fully right there. So emotional...

Midweek Blast from the Past! (2/21/18)

IU & Seulong - Nagging

The title of this song basically says it all.

Lyrics:

"Stop being out so late
Try not to drink so often
You don’t listen to me like a 10 year old child
I can only laugh
Who are you calling a child?
Really, I can only laugh
You don’t know how it feels for me to say these things
You don’t know that I only want to say nice things to you
Should I stop? Let’s stop

From one to ten, they’re all words for you
But since you don’t listen to me, it’s only nagging to you
Let’s stop, let’s stop
There’s not even enough time to just love

A story told by the heart, not the mind
Stories that I can’t help but tell you even if you hate them
Let’s stop, let’s stop
I only hear your nagging

Are you eating at the right time
Are you staying away from girls
I want to be beside you all day
That’s how I feel
If I could keep you in my pocket
I’d be really happy

Our story where we can only be two
A story that would make someone laugh if they heard
Should I stop? Let’s stop

From one to ten, they’re all words for you
But since you don’t listen to me, it’s only nagging to you
Let’s stop, let’s stop
There’s not even enough time to just love

A story told by the heart, not the mind
Stories that I can’t help but tell you even if you hate them
Let’s stop, let’s stop
I only hear your nagging

Even if you glare and try to scare me
Your face is just too cute to me
Are you going to keep this up? (You) I can’t hold back anymore
I really might get angry

A story that wouldn’t be told if we were to give up love
The sound of my heart that thinks only of you
Even if you’re angry, even if you shout
Your nagging is just so sweet to me

A story that can only be told if we love
But since you don’t listen to me, it’s only nagging to you
Let’s stop, let’s stop
But trust my feelings"

Ahh love.

Featured Song of the Week! (2/16/18)

Bumkey - When I Saw You

This is one of my favorite songs right now. Partially because I'm loving this drama, but I honestly think I would just love it anyways. Bumkey's voice just completes this drama.. Though there is a cringy English verse that I don't pay too much attention to, but Bunny about dies everytime it comes on.

"Always Behind of You" is a bit confusing English. I figure that it's trying to say "I'm always behind you." "I got your back" that sort of thing, but Bunny cringes everytime she hears that line. Bahahaha

The song is on the official soundtrack of Hwayugi(which is actually one of my favorite dramas right now) and is just so fitting.
