Let's Talk

Good morning/afternoon/evening.  This blog is not a traditional blog (no pictures,  no videos)  I just want to talk a minute.  I also feel like I need to express that the following is MY OPINION and mine only. 

So,  who woke up this morning to read the news that Taeyang and Min Hyo-rin are engaged and plan to marry in February before he leaves for the military?

  

*raises hand*

Who got all bent out of shape and butthurt because he is doing so?  

*puts hand down* 

People,  let's be real a moment.  Taeyang,  along with Sungmin from Super Junior,  Eli from U-Kiss and all of the other Kpop idols are HUMAN!  They deserve as much happiness as anyone else out there.  Why does everyone get bent out of shape when an idol starts dating and even worse (to the fans anyway) gets married?  Why is this such a crime?  Why is it like a betrayal to some people?  Am I missing something?  

Here is another point that I am sure will cause an uproar.  Bigbang... They are pretty much done as a whole.  That topic is a whole other blog post but yeah... Sorry guys I don't  think they are coming back and it hurts my soul.  I hate it so much.  So why not have a somewhat normal life now?  

I am actually happy for Taeyang and you know what?  If he still makes music and videos after he is married he is still going to be the sexy beast he always has been!  Nothing has changed.  I hope everyone will support him.

All in all I really think this song really fits their personalities. They had fun doing this song and you can tell.

So the drama is not one of his best in my opinion, but it was good. And any excuse to hear my hubby sing is a MUST. So every is used to the sexy beast that he is. The voice the flow just all around.... omg BACK TO THE TASK AT HAND BUNNY!!!!!!!... This song shows a different side of TOP that a lot of people don't see. I think it shows a vulnerable side of him.
I love his singing voice so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *if you could only have heard how hard I pressed those ! hahahaha *




If you haven't seen this drama you really need to it's well worth it. The song to me is almost like a lullaby. I that's cause he sings to me every night!!! hahahahahahahahahaha I LOVE YOU HUBBY!!!!!

Okay so it's a sad love song. Still!!! He actually has two different versions one with Jennie Kim and one with Sky Ferreira. Personally I like the one with Sky, because her part is in English. BUT it's just a great song, sad but great.

He's only been gone a couple of days and already I miss him :(... I baked his favorite cake and made his favorite dishes for his return home though and I sent him off with in a way he'd never forget, if you know what I mean ;) hahahahaha jk jk jk anyway. I don't think he's the greatest rapper out there, but he makes it really really hard not to just fall for him. I think his determination to make himself a better person is what makes me like him. TOP has gone trough a lot of growth in his life and I have MAD respect for him. When he comes back from his military service I only hope to see him get better and better. I MISS YOU HONEY BOO COME BACK SAFE (did I mention I love a man in uniform?)

Hi dear Glosticks! How's your week going so far? My week could seriously be a lot better. I haven't felt well at all, and it sucks because it interrupts my everyday life and puts it on hold. Ugh! :( 

I can't believe that this month is flying by. It's already February 7th, That means 7 more days before Valentine's Day is here! The days have seriously gone by so fast! I guess it's true when people say the older you are the faster time goes. Which is weird. I wish it would slow down just a little bit! But oh well, beggars can't be choosers right!? :) 

So, who all out there have a relationship with a special someone, and going further than being best friends, will most likely cause your friendship to fail? There are many people out there that say that dating your best friend is the coolest thing, because you have the 2 in one deal. The best friend, and the best boyfriend. What a lot of people don't say about this, is if the relationship were to fail, you also lose 2 to one. You lose your best friend, and your boyfriend. Which is sad, because who's shoulder are you going to cry on now, or text the silliest thing you saw on the internet? Who is going to back you up when you get into a tough situation? That person will be gone because you dated your best friend. Now, I'm not saying all situations are like this. There are situations, that you still remain best of friends. You both understand and know that nothing more than being friends can happen. 

I haven't had the opportunity to really date my best friend. But I have dated someone that was my friend, and thank god, we are still talking to this day! 

This song, number 8 Let's Not Fall In Love by BigBang is talking about something similar to this. Saying, why change the way things are if everything is going great right now. Let's not mess with that, because what if it becomes a disaster. Let's just stay as we are and let's not fall in love! 

I seriously can't think of anyone putting BigBang in the friendzone. They're just too gorgeous! lol! 

I love this song. It's so much fun to watch, but also sad! I hope that you enjoy this song as much as I do!

8.       Masta Wu, BOBBY, Dok2- Come Here- Masta Wu is one of my favorite “old school” Korean rappers. This song came out really close to BOBBY’s win over Show Me the Money 3. The video is actually a pretty fun watch and I’m not gonna lie I crank the shiz up when it’s on. And for the first time I actually liked Dok2's part (I’m not a dok2 fan at all )

10.   Paloalto, G2, B-Free, Okasian, and Zico -Turtle Ship- This one is a little “harder” I guess you can call it. It’s one of my favorites though. At first glance I was like Turtle ship? Whhhhaaatttttt… I was not disappointed. I had never heard of G2 or B-free before this but G2 has become a favorite of mine so I’m happy I found this collab.

13.   Miryo, Giant Pink – ROCK PAPER SCISSORS- I haven’t heard of either of these two before this video, but ya’ll. I’ve posted them everywhere. Honestly the song reminds me of “Wobble by V.I.C” like to me if you took the words off that song and the words off of RPS you’d get the same song. Nothing wrong with that it makes me dance. I think they both are on Unpretty rap star but I’m going to have to research more on them after this video for sure.

16.   Sam Kim and Loco- Think About Chu’- Okay for those of you who have never heard of Sam Kim he was Runner up on K-pop Star 4 I think, maybe 3, anyway he lost to Bernard Park, both of them from the USA, and both of them both REALLY TALENTED. I haven’t heard from Sam Kim since then I’ve kind of wondered when he was going to come out with music and then January 24 was my day ya’ll. Poking around on my YouTube and it pretty much fell into my lap. I was SOOO happy. When I clicked. HAPPINES OF THE EAR BUDS.This song was a like a Pot Head Hipsters bag of Kale chips.... what Hipsters get the munchies to ya'll it's not their fault their mustaches get in the way.  It’s got a kind of coffee house jazzy vibe to it. I’m IN LOVE with this song I didn’t want the song to end and I honestly thought sooner or later one of them was gonna start skatting. It was a PERFECT SONG for Loco, and his soul came through.

17.   Simon Domnic , Jay Park , and tablo- Won- okay so Tablo is just in the video not really in the song itself but him and Haru are so cute in the video I had to add their names. The song is good still though. I’ve found that AOMG really likes to “play with themselves” okay so maybe I shouldn’t say it like that, but they are always featuring on each other’s stuff.

18.   Perry, Masta Wu, Sean, and G-dragon – Storm- So I still don’t know who Perry is, but this has baby GD and who doesn’t love baby dragons right? I was clicking around YouTube a LONG time ago and found this video and I will admit this was way before I was into Hip Hop or even K hip hop. Masta Wu was actually the reason I clicked on it. YES, I KNOW... YOU'RE ALL EXCITED FOR BIGBANG'S MADE SERIES.

So, I'm loving this whole idea that BigBang has. They always have unique ideas about how they display their music. They came back with their Made series that includes 8 songs in total.

It's a song about many different things. As G-Dragon said "However, we wanted to offer a [more universal] theme with this song, so we drew a bigger picture. Somebody may not have a friend and somebody may not have love, you know? Everyone lives in a different situation. Depending on how you accept it, this song could be your story." 

I think we can all relate to this song. I love the melody of the song. For me, I apply it to my love life, at least when the song came out, I didn't have a boyfriend. I always thought to be honest, that I wouldn't ever have someone. I'm such a people person, how could I not have someone?

G-Dragon gets handsy (please watch the video) Everyone has a girl by their side, It's all very sexy. According to T.O.P this is what they discussed and what they intended the song with. "We discussed this amongst ourselves and the theme contains the selfish desire for a woman not to age. We thought of how we could express that in an interesting way. We thought about what age people usually consider a woman to be the most beautiful so 25? 26? After contemplating, we decided on 25. There is no big meaning to it.”

Do you feel like 25 is our (women) most conceited age? Do you feel at the prime, peak of your life?

Ok, this song is pretty much talking about devouring each other. Hahaha. So it's saying pretty much that you can lose yourself, show your confidence, be a party animal. I like it like it!!! 


We Like 2 Party 

I absolutely love this mv. Bigbang has amazing and I mean amazing talent in putting music videos and concerts together. The thing with this MV is that they're just simply having fun. All of them having been of age, drank before the MV was recorded. You see a new side of them. They're laughing, partying, enjoying life. You see the connection between all of them. Their Bromance as some people would say. I simply love it.

Sad day. We don't have an MV for this song.We take quite a turn and start seeing how they're reflecting on their past breakup. Talking about how they could have done better to her, Can they get back together? Will she have him again? All the questions that go through our head after a breakup. Sometimes we know it's good for us to have that separation, but that doesn't make it any less hard about being away from the person you love. The love never goes away. We keep some stuff from that relationship to later look at them. Everyone has done that. I know I have.

Bigbang is trying to convey the message about how much he wants to do things and be part of something bigger. But he can't do that without being harshly judge by the public, the world, that he needs to grow up, act his age, like an adult. It's a little sad, and it hits home. A lot of us go through this process as we grow up but hating growing up. We just want to have fun. What's wrong with that? This MV also states that no matter what he does now he finds no enjoyment. They've given up on their dreams. Or something of the sort. As you seen in the MV they're in a world of their own with no rules, no cares, no laws. A world they dreamed of.

Let's not make any promises, let's not fall in love. I'm scared. Don't get me wrong, I really do like you. This is pretty much what they're saying. How many times have you been scared of getting into a relationship? I know I have multiple times. Trusting someone with your feelings and your heart, well, that's a BIG step to take. I trust too easily, get hurt easily, and repeat the process. I know i should learn my mistake, but i can't help myself.
