DAY 12!!! AND JUST 2 MORE DAYS OF LOVE. But today we have a favorite HIGHGRND person!
It's the ears ya'll. I love a guy with cute ears I just can't help it. LOOK AT HIS NOSE he's so adorable. I just want to squeeze. Unfortunately he hasn't really come out with anything new since my last post that I know of.
We are bacccckkkkk..... its a new year its a brand new HOPPIN corner. This month we'll talk about some of my new interest of the new year. I'm excited, you're excited so lets get into it.
I talked a little about this in the 2017 songs post, but I feel like it needs more credit. Epik High came out with a new album We've Done Something Wonderful on October 23,2017. My life hasn't been the same.
I talk about Epik High a lot in my blogs mainly because I respect all three of them so much. Their lyrics in their songs always really touch my heart and sometimes it's exactly what I need to here. Some of them are fun like No Thanxx, or it can go the opposite direction like Here Comes the Regrets. They put so much into their songs like BLEED. The whole album just touch me in my feel goods. And you can't go wrong with the feel good spots.
My favorite one is hands down Here Comes the Regrets. MITHRA EFFFFING KILLLS HIS ENGLISH RAP. It shocked me so hard. You hear Tablo rap in English all the time, but RARELY do you Mithra Jin rap in English. Ya'll HE KILLS IT... and then you got Lee Hi coming in with her rich velvet voice trying to make you cry and shiiizzzz shame on her.
I liked BLEED too. I like how it starts off kinda old school feel too it. Of course Tablo has to put his lyrical genius into it. All in all to me We Done Something Wonderful was the best album of 2017 hands down. I can't wait to own it for myself. Until then..... we will just listen to it the best way we can. And if The hoppers of the Bunny's Hoppin Hip Hop corner haven't listened to it then GET TO IT NOW!!!!!!!
Day 13: Epik High Lyrics; Specifically Tablo is just a lyrical genius.
This is something that Bunny and I have been talking about quite a bit recently. She's really big into Epik High and Tablo especially whereas I just dabble every now and then. But still love Tablo immensely. But even if we're on different sides of the fan spectrum, it's been agreed upon that Tablo is just a lyrical genius.
Everything he puts in his songs are real. Like as real as you can get. And he says some pretty awesome stuff. I don't listen to many of their songs.. But the ones I do listen to, you can tell just how hard he works on his music and how poetic he is.
This is something I really like seeing in the Korean world. Songs that MEAN something rather than just having a good beat and vibe.
For the next several day's I'm just going to talk about Songs you may not have heard of ... or some of my favorite songs.

So we all know how much of a Tablo fan I am. His lyrics just speak to my soul. Well when I found out he was doing a cover of TaeYang's "Eyes, Noes, Lips" I was ALL ON IT. And when I heard it and found out it was in English...Omg.... I literally cried.

Let me be honest. When I first got
into the Korean music scene I didn’t like it that much. K pop just wasn’t doing it for me. But I got
a secret note from my boo T.O.P! yea okay so it wasn’t a real note, shut up let
me dream for a minute. Can’t a girl have a fantasy. So I started out
thinking that G dragon and TOP where all that was of Hip hop, which sadden me
because honestly that was my go to music for everything, nothing against those
talented, gorgeous men I mean who could complain with the lyrical genius that
is G to the Dragon and the flow so sick I need a Kleenex TOP. But TOP sat me down and said babe you need to
branch out, I know I’m the only one in your eye right now, but there are more
rappers out there. Along came Tablo. Tablo my dear boy, you
created a monster. I started watching Show Me the Money. (for those of you who
don’t know what that is; it’s a Korean hip hop competition show) from then on,
Hoppin Bunny was born and a monster was created. Epik high to Masta Wu , Mad Clown, to Dynamic
duo and so much more.
With all that being said, I promised ya’ll a post of 10
male and female rappers, so I’m not
gonna lie I had a hard time with this cause there are so many but I figured I’d
start out with the basics. If you are thinking of getting into the hip hop
scene I think you should start with these people. Don’t worry if you don’t see
your favorite I’m getting to them I promise. I didn’t rank these by my favorites because honestly that’s a different post for a different time. I’m so excited
there are so many people to talk about … errr one post at a time Bunny stop
hopping around …

1. Keith Ape – made it big with his song IT G MA. And honestly, I had it on repeat for
days. it’s my go to get hard song. Put that thing on in the gym and get ready

2. Zico-
block b’s leader so many good songs. One of my favorites. If you’re interested
watch his you are me and I’m you single. Some of his singles make me have mixed
feelings about him.
3. Epik High- oh Epik High who doesn’t love them some Tablo, Minthra Jin, and DJ Tukutz.
Born Haters is my favorite single by them even though there are so many great ones.
4. Basick-
he’s actually pretty old on the scene but due to family things he fell off..
well guess what HE’S BACK BITCHES!!! SORRY bad bunny. His single with InkII is
pretty good- The illusion
5. Okasian-
I like him before he started featuring in a lot of people’s things. Try
watching his 1,000,000 won single with G
Dragon, CL, and BeWhY, Or Jay Park’s- You know . I also like his get that money
single.
6. Beenzino-
oh beeny boo. If you like hip hop but like a relaxed type of different sound
he’s your guy. His single life in color is one of my favorites
7. Mad Clown- ya’ll I’m gonna be honest with you Mad Clown has feelings for me. I
asked him and he was like girl you PHAT! But alas he couldn’t handle all dis
fluff. his single of a mad soul is GREAT
8. Woo
Taewoon ( a lot of people don’t know him but he’s actally zico’s older brother)
a lot may argue with me but I just like him his personality his flow and
stuff. I don’t think he’s the greatest
rapper out there, but I don’t know I like him for some reason. He’s one of my
favorites I’ll probably post a whole post on him later. Try his song blind first MY FAVORITE SONG
EVER… Marry me TaeWoon I’ll get you out of Zico’s shadow and put you on the
high horse …

9. Nafla-
I first heard of him off of Tae Tae ^^ single and I kinda just fell in love
with him. Check out his single dope boy.
10. Jay Park- oh I’m not even
gonna go into him he’ll be a separate post when his new album comes out. Right
now I’m into Aquaman by him and Ain’t no party like a… GO ON WITH YO FINE
SELF…. <.< behave bunny >.>
Female wrappers
11. LE (EXID)- I liked her more when she was a part of the group Jiggy Fellaz. I honestly think
she’s my favorite idol rapper. I don't think she gets enough credit for just how good she is. She's never tried to branch out form EXID and I'd like to see her do a song with just her.
12. Bipa (lip service)- she freaking kills it. She kind of reminds me
of a Korean Kreayshawn (if you don’t know her YouTube= life) If you have never
heard of lip service or Bipa look up yum yum yum- lip service
13. Cheetah- I first heard of her through Unpretty Rap Star (pretty
much the women’s verison of show me the money)
but I’ve liked all her singles so I put her on here.
14. Jessi- Was the runner up of the
first Unpretty Rap Star she’s also a part of the group Lucky J. I think she has
a bad personality but I like her flow so oh well
15. Hyuna- I personally don’t like Hyuna but you win some and lose some
so. She's usually everyones go to rap girl ..her or CL but we'll talk about her later.
16. Yezi- she’s a member of Fiestar but let me tell you this girl is
killer. I wouldn’t even know who they were without her but I LOVE her singles. ya'll she my girl for real lol Listen to her single Cider if you want to try her.
17. CL- I don't really know what to say about her that hasn't already been said. If you know even the littlest about k pop you know who she is. To be honest I think she's a hit or miss, we all loved her single Hello Bitches but let's all be real with one another you were left longing for something more out of her Lifted single. I'll do a whole post later on my thoughts and opinions on CL.
18. Kisum- I haven't listened to EVERY one of her songs but I do like most of the ones I listen to. She's kind of a soft soul not really a go hard type but she has talent and unique to me. I like her You and Me single
19. Amber (fx) – oh my Amber ya’ll know her from (fx) but honestly if
you haven’t heard her new album or singles you are missing out cause all her
new stuff is great! Some may say she’s not hip hop but hey I love the girl.
Great personality, great voice, great lyrics WHICH SHE WRITES HERSELF I don’t
know she’s just a great all around person to me.
20. Hwasa (mamamoo)- why you ask? The girl is boss don’t knock it till
you try her ;) I love her voice pleases the ears in my opinion. I wish she'd do something on her own as well but I've liked her ft'ers so far.

So here I am drinking some delicious Peach Green Tea Lemonade and eating a pound Lemon Cake when I realize that I should really write a blog. And just so you know, the tea tastes really nice on a 92° day!!! The pound cake, well, I'm just hungry. Anyways....
YES...OMG.... I, THIS GIRL OVER HERE, I KNOW YOU CAN'T SEE ME, BUT I'M SITTING HERE GRINNING LIKE AN IDIOT, THIS GIRL, WENT TO SEE EPIK HIGH LIVE... AND YOU KNOW WHAT!?!?!?!?!?! IT WAS AMAZING!!!!
I sadly didn't take as many pictures as I would have liked, but I took a bunch of videos.
Anyways ...
It was the three of us, Gracie, Krystal and I who were able to enjoy the presence of Epik High. Since we wanted to get good seats, we decided to leave about an hour early and get in line. Except it didn't workout that way ... >.<
In Seattle, yes their show was in Seattle WA, they have two Showbox theaters. One near the Pike Market place, and another one by the Safeco stadium. Having not known that, we went to the one that was near the market. Gracie was all like, I can't believe you guys didn't know that. And was to say the least dissapointed. The Showbox by the Safeco stadium was like a good 10-15 minute drive... there was no way we were going to walk ... So, we took a taxi... Let me tell you. That was the first time taking a taxi in the US. I'd taken several in Mexico, but never up here. And it was fun!!! I sat front seat.
Anywho... We got there and there was already people inside and still a long line. This is the picture (Down) and there was still a big line behind us. It was amazing being around a bunch of people who appreciated, no, who adored Kpop as much as us!! It was amazing!!! Once we got inside it was hella dark, with some lights here and there. But we made it in time...Unfortunately since we got there so late, we got the back of the crowd AND with the tall people, I couldn't even see the stage...(yes, please cry with me)
BUT ... with Gracie leading we were able to get infront of some tall people and were able to see the stage... Thank God. I would have been so mad, if I didn't even got a glimpse!!! >.< As the concert continued, people pushed their way up to the front. It happened so much that I think I have a bruise or two to show for it. Haha... Kidding ... No I'm not!!
So... yep, you guessed it, I was like, what the heck come back here. No I wasn't but still, I pushed myself kindly up to almost the front.. And I say kindly since I was like "Excuse me," "Thank You," Lol. No I didn't push anyone ... too hard. Lol.
Tablo ended up coming down to us poor Kpop lovers and walked through the crowd.. The crowd, what you expect, was FRANTIC. Haha. It was total chaos... I got so squished!!!! OMO!! But i was seriously like inches...INCHESS ... I'm telling you ... From touching this precious person!!! Maybe next time!!!
All in all, it was beyond my expectation. I loved it...LOVED IT!!!! I jumped on my tiptoes for 2+ hours and woke up the next day with sore, and I mean sore calves ... did I mention sore calves?!?! It was all worth it!!!
Once we got out of there, I was drenched, both with sweat and water that DJ Tukutz's water hit me right on the face. Lol ... My once straight hair was curly (I have naturally curly hair)!!

It was definitely a night to remember. I want to definitely have tons of Kpop concerts under my belt!!!
