Because I really loved this group.. And their company disbanded the group to focus on EXID. How'd that work out? Promoting without a member now.. Boom. 

No really I love EXID. But this group was seriously GOOD!!!

So information on these two is like HELLA hard to find. But they signed around the same time as Punch and the others. They are a little r&b-ish sound I guess you can say. Honestly it sounds like something The Weekend would come up with. I know I'm weird. (they don't sound anything like The Weekend) I like them a lot though.

Midweek blast from the past! My favorite day of the week!

Today features one of my all time favorite groups of Kpop.. And the most underrated in my honest opinion. 

U-KISS - Forbidden Love

Yes, this was one of their Japanese songs. Honestly, I feel like sometimes their Japanese singles were better than their Korean ones. But then again I loved ALL U-KISS so everything was just amazing. 

To me, UKISS is severely underrated.. And I loved them with a serious burning fiery passion. And swore at one point I would marry Eli. You can see how that went. LOL!! But that phase passed after I found Kim Jong Kook anyways.. He's my eternal husband. My eternal One Man. 

Back to topic at hand...

Forbidden Love. 
Probably my favorite of their Japanese releases.. This song has been a favorite since it first came out. 

And looking back I realize how much I miss old U-KISS... Ya know, Dongho.. AJ... KEVIN... :(

Hyukoh!!!!

This band consists of 4 members. 

Oh Hyuk (vocals, songwriter, guitar) 

Im Dong-gun (bass, with occasional guitar)

Lim Hyun-jae (Lead Guitar, but occasional bass)

Lee In-woo (drums)

Hyukoh is not really a genre people think I listen to, but to me it's kinda like a Idie-pop-rock-ish kind of feel. I think it is a good listen when I want to relax and do homework or house work when I'm not trying to "turn up". Oh Hyuk's voice has this growl to me that makes me go, " OH OKAY YOU SING THAT ISH".  Hyukoh is the first band/artist/group to join HIGHGRND when the label was made. I actually before writing this post had only heard of the Wi Ing Wi Ing. I knew that they were apart of HIGHGRND, but hadn't really listened to any of their others. Now that I have I think my favorite one is probably "Comes and Goes" 


But a lot of you may have heard of them through their appearance on Infinity Challenge. 



However you find new music doesn't matter it's all about the feeling you get when you listen to it.
I've always hoped that people may read my post and maybe go...hmmm I like this I want to listen to more. I'm not going to lie most of my stuff I listen to I found on YouTube clicking around. But you should always listen to music that makes you feel good. Hyukoh is just a band that makes me feel good.

Incredivle

Incredivle was actually the first rapper signed to HIGHGRND. I saw him on SMTM, though he wasn't my favorite I always thought he had the talent. He featured on SMTM 4 on Tablo and Jinusean's team. Unfortunately he was eliminated at top 6, but signed with HIGHGRND right after elimination. 

I'm really waiting on him to come out with something, but looks likes we may have to wait a little while. :( He has featured in some of others works though so he's not missing from the scene by any means. 

What's your thoughts on Incredivle? Does he tickle your hip hop nerve? Or is he what you've been looking for?

At just 19 years old he has took my heart by storm. Signed on to HIGHGRND as a hip hop rapper/producer he has several hits out right now :D 

I first found out about him actually through a cypher with Sik-k and others. 

But actually he just posted a brand new song a couple of weeks ago. It's actually one of my favorites of his so far.

Hey everyone how are ya'll doing today! Welcome to another post of HIPHOP CORNER! So I have a video to share with you guys. I think a lot of ya'll know now that one of my favorite rappers is Tablo. As stated before, he has a new-ish (2016) "sub" recording label of his own. HIGHGRND. HIGHGRND's main focus is underground hip hop, but a lot of their artist so far are from different genres. One of the first on the recruit list:

CODE KUNST

Code joined the team as a producer and since then, I've been real hopeful for some of his works. Code has now worked with people like BeWhy, MINO, Lee Hi, Loco, G.Soul, and many more. His new song released about a month ago Fire Water (ft G.Soul & Tablo)  is growing on me. 

Who doesn't love playing with fire. Though I know there must be some artistic reason for him being surrounded by water like a one man island, I'm still lost. Looks like fun though. When Tablo showed up I literally cried with joy, and the "I made the bed for you, you can ZZZ in peace" line had me like DANNNGGG make my bed lol. G. Soul's voice in this video just fit so nicely like it was made for this song.

Hey ya'll it's time for another BUNNY'S HOPPIN HIP HOP CORNER.
Today's topic is not new to the Korean hip hop industry. They are one of my favorite hip hop groups, but recently with one of their members solos I've kind of gone back to them. All of them do their own thing from time to time, but I think I like them more when they are together.

PHANTOM!!!

I actually found out about them watching San E on YouTube. They can be kind of pop-ish to me sometimes, but I'm cool with that. Maybe you already know this, but Phantom is a part of BrandNew and consist on three different members.





KIGGEN!!

Is the oldest of the group. He's also the leader and main composer. Along with writing for Phantom he's also wrote songs for groups like VIXX, Bestie, Block B, and even Verbal Jint.

SANCHEZ!!!

Sanchez to me does a little bit more of their vocals, but when he chooses to rap...OMG!!!! And here's a little fun fact he's Micrdots and BLASTO's brother.

HANHAE!!!!

The youngest of the group. He was also a Block B hopeful. Kinda glad he didn't debut with them though. His new solo recently came out, I think I've stated this, but I'm kind of obsessed with it.
