If you've ever watched a Korean variety show you will know exactly why I'm writing this blog.
BECAUSE THEY'RE SO ADDICTIVE!!
Ever since I watched "Oh My School" months ago, all I've wanted to do is watch variety shows. I have now taken a a break in watching dramas because I'm so into the variety shows that I watch now. My variety shows are ALL a chain reaction so far, btw. lol. One is linked to another some how and I'll explain throughout the blog.
BTW. If you don't know how to watch some Korean variety shows you can watch some of KBS's variety shows on Youtube! They have a channel called KBSWorld. And they do put English subs on all that I've seen so far. Makes my life so happy. Haha. Link below.
So like I said.. My first variety show was "Oh My School" or "100 Points Out Of 100" or "백점만점"
This show is sadly now cancelled. It was cancelled a LONG time ago. Haha. The show was suppose to place celebrities in a "school" environment to do honestly I have no idea. lol. But I loved the show! This show is actually what got me liking many stars. Such as:
Simon D of Supreme Team.
After watching this show I fell in love with Simon D. He has an amazing sense of humor and is extremely fun to watch.
Min from Miss A.
She is extremely energetic and SO funny. I didn't like Miss A before this honestly.. Surprising because I LOVE Miss A now. But the only song I had ever heard by them was "Over U" and I didn't like it at all. Her and Simon D went perfectly on this show. They were extremely funny throughout all of it because they were 2 of the main regulars on the show.
Tony An of H.O.T
I had already liked "Candy" by H.O.T and he was my FAVORITE. Idk why. Well maybe besides Kangta. Who didn't love Kangta though forreal? To me, he was always so cute, but he really resembles a monkey. Maybe that's why I love him so much. I love monkies(:
Park Myeong Su
This might actually come as a surprise that I LOVE him. Lol! He is one of my most favorite MC's of all. He's definitely not handsome, though he is charming in his own weird ways. But he makes up for his horrible looks with his sense of humor, harshness, and weirdness. lol He is the reason I started watching "Happy Together" believe it or not.
Which begins my next variety show.
"Happy Together" or "해피투게더"
I will be completely honest and say that I have only been watching the 3rd season. I find it SOOOO funny watching all the hosts. They should never change these hosts. EVER. This show places celebrities in a sauna setting. Which is rather funny not seeing celebrities all dressed up. BUT what I find the most hilarious thing is the choice of hairstyles the hosts have.

This show got me obsessed with 2 other people which got me obsessed with 2 other variety shows....
Park Mi Sun
She is one of the MC's on the show. And honestly just by watching Happy Together I really thought she was ugly.. Sadly. But she got me watching "Mamma Mia" and I realized, she's actually PRETTY! She doesn't look like she'd be funny at all, but she is. She's so hilarious.
Heo Kyung Hwan
Maybe I only liked him at first because he's so cute. Haha! But one time when he actually talked, I realized he's one of the funniest comedians on the show. And he got me watching "Gag Concert" LOL!
So the next variety show is the one that Park Mi Sun got me watching is "Mamma Mia"
I'm extremely sad to say that they are CANCELLING IT!!! :'( I am currently watching this show.. And they're planning to CANCEL IT!!!! HOW DARE THEY?! I LOVE THIS SHOW!!! It's celebrities with their moms. Which is hilarious!! I have never laughed so hard in my life. I honestly think that ratings probably went down after Minho left the show to go to on tour and Kyuhyun replaced him. I'm seriously sorry to all Kyuhyun and Super Junior fans, including my mom who is IN LOVE with Kyuhyun. I personally love Kyuhyun and Super Junior, everyone knows that. But. Minho just did so much better as an MC. He was so playful and funny and cute. Whereas Kyuhyun kinda looks awkward as an MC. Anyways.. The hosts are all amazingly hilarious, the moms always keep me laughing, and I wish Minho could join back in there.
Okay, next is Gag Concert.
The only reason I started watching this is because I knew Heo Kyung Hwan was in it. But after I watched it once. I about died and so I became addicted. It had different amazing comedians coming together doing skits that make you laugh so hard that you hurt so much. If you want to laugh, WATCH THIS SHOW! You will not regret it.
