Korea's Dads (Bunny Edition) week 4

So this week I was really wanting to do several people. I had a lot in mind. But I just couldn't make myself do it...because I really wanted to honor one man. My Dad.

My dad is probably like the coolest man alive. I've been not the nicest of kids (trouble from the start) but even with that he has been nothing but my back bone and support since I was small. I resented him for the longest time and though I pushed away from him he was always there to pick up and put me back on my feet. When I feel like I've messed up or I've failed my dad has ALWAYS been there to say well "Jeniveve humans in general will fail. We fail each other, but more importantly we fail ourselves. If you aren't willing to learn from your failures then there is no point in life in general. In order to make ourselves happy we have to fail, we have to try, otherwise how do we know we aren't good at it?" 

My dad has been there for lots of people not just me. He makes me laugh when I don't think I can. He supports me when the world turns their back. He's my rock, my protector and everything a girl can ask for when she thinks of what a dad should be. 

I am SO lucky that I have a dad that I can look up to and count on when I need it, because there are a lot of people out there who do not have that in their lives. 

I just want to say one more thing before I close this series down. For those out there who have lost their dad I will as I am writing this take a moment of silence.............

I lost my mom 8 years ago and I know all to well what losing a parent feels like. My condolences and prayers are with you and I hope that our fans here at HAS live a happy life full of love and compassion.

But again I just felt like his Daddness (made up that word?) needed to be shared. He actually was one of the first fathers of the hip hop world I knew about. YES EVEN BEFORE THERE WAS TABLO. What I love so much about Tiger as a dad is, he involves his son in a lot of his own things.

He seems to use his son in a lot of songs. But you can tell his son loves every minute of it.



Tiger Jk has a lot of new stuff out now. And like I said last week he's a new judge for Show Me the Money 6

Korean's Dad's (Bunny Edition) week 1

To all the dad's out there HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!!! I don't know about you guys, but I personally have one of the coolest dad's in the world!!! so I was really excited about doing this series with the HAS crew. So like you may have read before or noticed We at Heart and Seoul are going to do a little series about Korea's famous dad's. So my first dad is going to be.....

Basick!!!!

I've talked about Basick before in my blogs, but what I haven't talked about his is role as a dad. Basick put his career on hold as a rapper and got a job as an office worker to help support his wife and child. As we all know that didn't last long when he won Season 4 of Show Me the Money 4. You have to respect that. But he's making the money now! I know that I've said this SO many times, but I just love him so much. 

This song ^^^ was his last round song I believe. I literally cried. He talked (in the show) about how it really hurt him that a lot of Jiggy Fellas members were making it and he put everything on hold. I think that's one of the reasons why I had such a hard time with choosing who I wanted to win that season. Picking between MINO and Basick was SOOOO HARD ya'll. I'm so proud of him though and he, like I've said is one of my favorite rappers.

Fathers Day Series!

June is home to Fathers Day! 

So naturally, the series this month will revolve around our favorite fathers in the Korean entertainment industry! 

I am so excited about this series! I love watching dad's be such amazing dads to their little ones. 

This is why Return of Superman is one of my favorite shows. 

Basically how it will go is every week there will be one post from each HAS member on their favorite dads.
