The song is completely wonky. I love it, tbh. But most don't. The chorus and the rest of the song sound completely different. Then the concept doesn't match the chorus.. The lyrics don't match the concept... The title doesn't match the song... The dance doesn't really match anything. It's just so so so so sooooo weird.

Groups you MAY not know! (5/7/17)

Oooooooooooooooo. I am excited for today's group. Like I feel like I shouldn't even be writing about them because I've known them for about 3 years now... But I have noticed even since they debuted, they don't have alot of views or fans. But I will say that with one of their most recent comebacks, they're gaining a lot more attention. 

Boys Republic (소년공화국)

I actually did write a post on them 3 years ago when I found 'Video Game'. 

I really like Boys Republic. I feel like they have always had a lot of talent and potential and it hasn't been properly handled until 'Get Down' was released. 

Boys Republic actually debuted in June of 2013 with 'Party Rock'

I liked 'Party Rock', but I didn't find out about them until 'Video Game' came out. Because it really didn't do well. But I really thank them for not giving up and deciding they didn't want to continue because their debut didn't go well. Because after that, 'Video Game' came out. 






Which was an AMAZING song. It just recently hit 1 million views and it's been on Youtube since 2014... This song became a like necessity in our house. Road trips, going to the store, feeling bored, playing basketball, playing video games, etc.. This song was always playing.

But what's gained Boys Republic much of their newfound.... it's not popularity.. They're still not very popular... And they're still clearly underrated... But I guess I could say fans. Because the song gained them a lot more fans than they had before. 
Anyways, that would be 'Get Down'

I've always been a fan of Boys Republic dances. They're always on point and just good. This dance shows that. They're extremely talented men. Like, seriously. They're almost as underrated as U-KISS but we definitely won't go there right now. Yall know you don't want to get me started on U-KISS.. especially with their recent changes.. -_-

I really don't understand why they aren't doing well, though. Boys Republic was Universal Music's first kpop group. Though I guess it's because American labels don't really understand how the Korean entertainment system works. But at the very least, they should have had more promoting.

New Obsession : Boys Republic - Video Game

Video Game

This blog will just be short and sweet. I LOVE VIDEO GAME. I'm actually starting to love Boys Republic as a whole, too. Before I heard this song. I didn't even know who they were. And the only reason I heard this song is because I was watching "Immortal Songs 2" and after the show was over, this music video played. And I FELL IN LOVE with it. Because the chorus is just.. I can't even explain it. My favorite part of the song is definitely the chorus. I guess that's because at one point they start off higher pitched and the transition to a lower pitch than what they were at is just great. Maybe I'm just weird. But seriously it is a GREAT song. And they're all super cuties. And I don't have a bias as of now because since they're so new to me, I love all of them... Except one. And I will not say that one for fear that it will ruin his reputation. Though I must say that with my discovery of BTS's "Randall Monster", Rap Monster became the bias of a lot of people after reading that. LOL!
